Comparison and Contrast-Final

Differences of store and Internet shopping

People now have many different kinds of ways of shopping, such as store shopping and Internet shopping. People can buy things in both ways, but there are three differences between these two shopping ways: convenience, fit or not, and securities.

Internet shopping is so convenient that you can just type a key word and click your mouse, and then you find what you want. It only takes you a few seconds. On the other hand, you have to go out for store shopping and find your own way. Store shopping may take you a whole afternoon to find what you want.

When going store shopping, you can try the clothes on and see if they fit you or not. You can also see the actual color of clothes. However, if you buy clothes on the Internet, you won't know if the clothes fit you or not until you receive them. Moreover, the actual color may differ from the color you see on the Internet.

Shopping on the Internet is convenient. However, it's not as secure as store shopping. Since you can see real things if you go store shopping, you can see whether there is any defect. Yet, you can only see the real things after your buying and receiving them. In addition, you can return the clothes with a defect if you bought them in a store. However, returning the goods is usually unacceptable for most Internet sellers.

Base on these three points, shopping in the store may be better to the consumers. But for me, I would prefer Internet shopping to store shopping because it's convenient and goods are usually cheaper.

Friends

Friends of mine can be grouped in three ways. The first category is friends from five-year college. Friends in STUT are the second group, and the last category is friends on the Internet.

Friends from five-year college play an important role in my life. I think that's because we have been together for five years and we have many memories. For example, our class had been chosen to host the Union of Department so that we have held so many activities. In order to have perfect performances, we had prepared for a long time. During the preparation time, we had become more and more united like a big family. Those friends are indispensable for me.

The second group, friends in STUT, has a positive influence on me because they are very lively and expansive. We met only three months ago but it seems that we have been good companions for three years. Being with them, I talk more and laugh more than before. They are also very sweet, for example, they went to train station with me at late night because they worried about the safety while I walked there alone.

The last group of my friends are those I met on the Internet. They are essential to me as well. They are usually older than me so that they would give me some suggestions or advice. For instance, we have discussed if I should go abroad or finish college studies. They help me a lot as if they were my older brothers or sisters.

Having these three groups of friends enriches my life and I really appreciate their friendship. I wish I can keep their friendship for good.
